About this listen

Rig 42, the largest and most advanced oil rig the world has ever known, has just hit something. The airwaves fill with the sounds of screaming, terror, and torture, and then there is silence. Now, the biggest oil rig in the world sits quietly. But something evil has infiltrated the massive structure. The company is desperate to find out what's happened. A team of mercenaries and oil rig experts is dispatched to determine what the danger is and if it can be eliminated.

They find that the rig hit something that had been buried for centuries… something older than evil itself… something that leaves only the unbearable screams of the tortured behind… something that hungers. It is a terror that can take any shape. It is a terror that will destroy a man's body and tear apart his soul.

An interesting story

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would add more depth to the characters and flesh out the storyline. The main themes have been covered in better novels and films before. We haven't really been given enough information.

Has Rig put you off other books in this genre?

No, I enjoy this genre too much to be put off and I like to discover authors I haven't heard before. Whether I find them good or not.

Could you see Rig being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

There is already some films out there that are similar, but with the right actors and a decent script it could be developed into a decent film.
