Summary
Joe and his band of intrepid survivors have joined a larger group of survivalists. They are making life much better by implementing mutual-assistance groups that help protect each other and barter among themselves.
While life is getting better, there are still threats to handle and pains to endure. The loss of a several loved members rocks the group and shakes its faith. Joe and Cobie make sure the group uses the pain to make the group stronger as they fight to rid Oregon and Northern California of gangs and slavers.
Life is tough in the apocalypse, but this band is a tough bunch of survivors.

So glad there is another series that will tell us what happens to Cole! I just about died when he was taken! Onto Cole's Saga!

Great conclusion
This was a great conclusion to a fantastic series, I was rivetted all through the four books, I loved the characters and the plot twists were interesting,. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Good series of books.
Good series with characters you can believe in. Strange to be quite concentrating on the area and not in the wider USA. Thank you.

A must read or listen
Number one thing about this series as I said in my review of audible one and that is Grandma you can never get enough of her letters of spit. fire and wisdom. The author never wavers in telling the perfect story with death, growing up pains as a person and community. You feel each and ever lost and in someway morn with the characters in the story.
Finally the trip never stops between the books and the narrator does an above average job telling the story.
So in closing I can not review this series any better than say if you are ready really ready for fun, a laugh, a cry and a very wise old grandma you need to listen or read this series.

Good narration and story
Just loved Grandma, I cant say that enough she was a brilliant addition to the series and just perfect, in adding a twist to the standard genre.
This was a good conclusion and set it up nicely for Cole's adventures.
