About this listen
The battle for Echo Hold begins, the Uyumaak throwing their might at the fortress. The birth of the Holy Child draws near, and the Chalaine and Padra Athan try to prop up the Ha'Ulrich's failing courage so he can face Mikkik when the time comes. Gen, still separated from the Chalaine, watches from a distance, fearing treachery, hoping he can save her from Mikkik and the incompetence of her cowardly husband.
But when Mikkik finally arrives, the tormented god foists the biggest deception ever seen upon the unsuspecting peoples of Ki'hal. Only Gen and a few of his allies know the truth. The fate of Ki'hal rests upon their shoulders as Mikkik unleashes his fell creations to hunt them down and silence the living heart of the world.

Not bad, better than a lot of whats out there!
Any additional comments?
Taking all four books together, its not bad at all, its not a patch on the 1st law, or Demon Cycle, but its better than a lot thats out there. Only issue is the fact it is split into four books, is it really worth four credits? No! if this was one book, even two then I would have been much happier, as it is, its a bit off a rip off!

enjoyable series
It was good to find a series that was complete before I started to listen as It gave continuity. I hope to find others as good for future listening .The hero was easy to like and care for and if the ending was not exactly the one I hoped for it was the most logical.

Honestly brilliant.
One of the best stories (four books) I've had the pleasure of listen to this year.
I'm now left with the unenviable task of trying to find a book that will live up to this one :)

Starts Ok but get super corney
Would you ever listen to anything by Brian K. Fuller again?
No
Did Simon Vance do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?
Yes Simon vance was ok in this.
Was Sacrifice worth the listening time?
Nope
Any additional comments?
The four books start off ok but they, quickly get super corney, Gen the main character is a Mary Sue of epic proportions, It makes it really hard to have any empathy or connection to the main character.
