About this listen
Only she can lift the spell. But the key to its destruction could mean her death....

Love to hear this brought to life...
I have read all of these books by A.L. Knorr, and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey of hearing them all brought to life through Audible. Marni Penning does a fantastic job reading them, with a lot of emotion, humour and character.
This story goes right to the root of the sirens curse, and puts Targa in a situation where she may have to choose whether to save her own life, or free the sirens trapped by the curse of the salt.
I don’t post spoilers. Listen to this, it’s brilliant… But make sure that you have read/listened to Salt and Stone and Salt & the Sovereign first. Enjoy!

Brilliant
This book is the brilliant final piece of this trilogy. It has a wonderfully strong heroine along with lots of other endearing characters. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Sirens story which is brought to life by the brilliant narration.

Sometimes the key to the future lies in the past
I really like the originality of this story and the authors creativity. She pays a lot attention to detail and it definitely makes the story flow seamlessly.
Salt and the Sisters is a gripping tale. From beginning to end I was completely engrossed in Targa and Mira’s quest to break the sirens curse. Targa and her loved ones uncover some important information that might allow them to break the curse but they need the help of an old friend to translate it but how do you find someone who doesn’t want to be found?
Their journey has many twists that lead to lots of new unexpected discoveries. It’s a bit emotional and tense in some parts.
I loved the dog and a certain character’s adoration towards him.
I also loved the cameos of some of the previous characters from other books.
I would definitely recommend this series.

Truly Amazing - deserves way more than 5 stars
This is the final part of Targa's story and boy, what a huge roller coaster of emotions.
I have previously read the book as I couldn't wait for the audio book to come out and was blown away by how well the story was written. But after listening to it, it affected me more emotionally than reading the book, and this is mainly due to Marni Penning's excellent narration. She really puts her heart and soul into telling the story and I feel every emotion of the characters.
Such a well written and narrated story - I will definitely be listening to this series over and over again.
