I wanted to like it, but ....

The premise has been done before but that didn’t deter me,, I wanted to be entertained. However, the somewhat cliched writing and phrasing, and the female narration let it down. I think the female narrators voice might be better suited to a younger character, and careful attention to emphases and pauses would help too.

I gave up after chapter 12.

Shiloh James is so awful, not sure who reviewed these narrations and felt the passed the muster
