Summary

Three lives on a collision course with destiny....

Logan Construction Services CEO Dan Logan desperately wants to get away and lick his wounds after being dumped by his fiancée and suffering through a devastating jobsite fatality on the same day. He retreats to a secluded island alone, but his vacation takes a dangerous turn when he rescues a teenage boy who shipwrecks on the rocky shore. A battle of wills ensues that threatens both their lives.

Dory Devereaux, a widow of six years, flees Massachusetts with her delinquent sixteen-year-old son, Chase, hoping to keep him from being placed in juvenile detention until he’s deemed an adult at 18. Her world crumbles when she finds Chase missing the morning after arriving at her former in-laws’ house in South Carolina.

Anxiety turns to despair when the police take Dory to the morgue to possibly identify a teen boy whose body was found washed ashore by a local fisherman. Can things get any worse?

Lovely story

This is not my usual sort of book but I am so glad I took the chance. This is a wonderful story of love and redemption, of loss and courage, strength of character and faith. A Christian book but one that does not go overboard. Chase is a troubled teen with some anger issues and a smart mouth, Dan Logan is a CEO who needs a break, when Chase is shipwrecked on an island with only Dan for company, the two gradually form a father son type bond. Then Dan meets Chase's mother. A super clean romance that will have you laughing and crying in equal measure. The narrator is perfect adding so much to my enjoyment of the story. I received a complimentary copy from Storyorigin and am leaving a honest voluntary review

second chance

Chasebis sixteen but in a lot of trouble. His mother, Doris, left their apartment in Massachussets and drove them to Crescent to avoid juvenile detention. Can almost drowning bring him back to life? Dan will save him from death and made him realise what's worth in life. A second chance at happiness. Great audiobook and great narrator.

Good

Excellent story. Well written with the normal teenager knows whats best for him plot to start but he comes round when he doesnt get the response from the man who he ends up stranded with. The guy actually listens to him, and this make the young lad actually think. Its a sweet ending too.
