This is such a gem
This is an amazing book , well read and extremely informative. Its full of historical truths. Ancient Scotland must have been a very worrying time to be alive.
She describes witch craft - the path off the wise, magic, second sight, healing, spirits of ancestors and much, much more.
Do as you will but harm none.
It will be my number one book for a long time. It will be listened to, time and again.

Mispronounced
As a Scottish reader in Argyll I'm really enjoying this book but wish that I had bought the paper version to read rather than endure the consistent mispronunciation of the word "cailleach," a word so integral to this book. It should be Ka-y-ach similar to kayak but with the Scottish chhh sound instead of a k at the end.

An Unexpected Reaction
I've never felt anything ring truer for me.
I nearly wept at points and I never cry due to childhood programming, too afraid to be 'given something to cry about'.
This book will be one I keep and read many times, I need to understand why it had effected me so.

Highly recommend
I’m listening to this book for the 4th time right now! I loved it so much so that I have since purchased a paper copy to make notes. I love the soothing older female Scottish accent - it adds to the authenticity! History, folklore, personal stories, spells, tools, spirit animals, herbs, mythical creatures, elements, directions, moons, tides, scrying, divination, stones, remedies, sooo much more! The information feels very trustworthy and well researched.
