Summary

Lark struggles when her family and their friends go on holiday in a lonely caravan site on the Welsh coast. Her mother is ill, her little sister has stopped speaking and she has fallen out with her best friend. Is a girl in a green dress following her in the fog? Or is her sister playing tricks on her? When a local woman tells her the girl comes to take sisters, Lark finds herself the only one who can save her family.

Curious…

An enjoyable story, that touches on so many powerful feelings and emotions. Sometimes, I think too much all at once, although maybe that’s the point.
The story has an odd pace, it is either racing along at breakneck speed or rambling slowly through descriptive sections.
I enjoyed it on the whole. It put me in mind of Tom’s Midnight Garden, Moon Dial and Susan Hill’s Woman in Black.
The build up to the end is rapid but then... it ends.
Personally, I found that lacking something, I don’t know what though.
Worth a try if you are a supernatural story fan.
