About this listen
Sky Deakins doesn’t believe that her husband committed suicide; however, to get to the truth she may have to reveal a secret that she’s kept close to her heart for 23 years, 22 of which she has been a widow. It’s a secret that she’s thinking she may not want to take to her grave anyway. At 80 years of age, that time may not be far off. And what does the 2016 future senatorial candidate, Dallas Maguire, have to do with any of it? And what about Gracie’s secret? Will Randi Leigh make Parker an uncle? Can Parker and his dad actually become friends? Who is it that has secrets in death?

Oh what a tangle web we weave.
A third great book in the Parker Dupont series from James Paddock. It was I thought it a little slow at the start. The Prologue all about the Sky's family tree was complicated to follow but by laying a strong foundation it enabled the author to build a very strong story. Once it got going however it was fast paced and riveting. I couldn't put it down. The characters are great and are developing more and more as the series goes on, espescially the younger ones. I particularly like Parker and Stormy who does not appear as much in this one and Parkers children are brilliant. The narration was superb, Josiah John Bildners ability to create unique voices for some of the characters was great, from 80 year old Sky to Scott age 11, and many in between, he's got them all nailed. I look forward to listening to more narrations from him and also will be keeping an ear open for more of James Paddocks books. Outstanding Read... *****
