Very interesting is a bit man bashing
Funny and interesting. The only thing I didn’t like was the male narrator it was a bit offensive

Brilliant book a must read
I naively thought this book was going to be funny. It is very far from funny, but in a good way. It is incredibly informative and raises many important questions about sex from an evolutionary perspective and how it is linked to money amd power and basic needs. There is a lot of discussion on porn which is fascinating, so well researched and balanced as the author tries to look at it from different perspectives. Having two young sons this scares me and doesn't give me the answers as to how to raise them to avoid some of these awful often instinctual behaviours of men, but has got me thinking and made me aware of areas To look out for.
Ok and maybe there are a few funny parts.

A new queen to admire in our day and age
After reading Animal 2 years ago, I was delighted to see this bad boy.

Opinionated but eye opening
Lots of information to take in from this book. So much more to look into, it really makes you want to look further into all sex, power and money to have discussions with different people with different views. Definitely changed my perspective and gave me a much more open mind. I think of myself as quite liberal but like Sara, I forget that people choose to do sex work and are not always forced.

Not a comfortable listen, but excellent
Some very difficult subjects covered with enthusiasm, sensitivity, comedy where appropriate and full acceptance of personal point of view.
I hated what it said, but had to hear it. It has given me the opportunity to look at things from many other points of view and understand possible scientific and evolutionary reasons for why we are where we are.

Great introduction to further research
Fascinating stuff, entertaining narration. I think this book is a great introduction to further research on the topics of sex, power and money. Sara clearly spent a lot of time doing research and provides a long list of useful literature for further research at the end of the book. I learnt things I didn't know, and her personal reflections were interesting, challenging and relatable. I liked that she didn't offer a single theory and left the debate open. Really pleased to have got this book.
