About this listen
For Rebecca Bloomwood, life is peachy. She has a job on morning TV, her bank manager is actually being nice to her, and when it comes to spending money, her new motto is Buy Only What You Need—and she's really (sort of) sticking to it. The icing on the brioche is that she's been offered a chance to work in New York.
New York! The Museum of Modern Art! The Guggenheim! The Metropolitan Opera House! And Becky does mean to go to them all. Honestly. It's just that it seems silly not to check out a few other famous places first. Like Saks. And Bloomingdales. And Barneys. And one of those fantastic sample sales where you can get a Prada dress for $10. Or was it $100? Is Becky too dazzled to care?

BOOK 2 HILARIOUS 4 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Well, what can I say, Sophie Kinsella has smashed the sequel with 'Shopaholic Abroad' Miss Becky Bloomwood is back, Brilliant and better than ever!
Book 2 from the series was brilliant, I thoroughly enjoyed the fun of Miss Becky Bloomwood finding love 💘 with Luke Brandon, This listen was just packed full of hilarious stories about her best mate Suze, her parents, her relationship with the bank hasn't changed and now she is in the tv giving out financial advice and going to New York to work.
I love the 'Shopaholic' series!
This really is Chicklit at it's best. I find that I actually laugh out loud listening to this because it really tickled me when Becky was telling Suze that she thought her boyfriend James wanted to do the deed, so she took the initiative to seduce him but he wasn't forthcoming, so you wondered why he bopped her in the face trying to stop her😂
It is just so funny in the moment, the way Becky was explaining it and now I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.
The narrator did her job very well 😀👍
The only negative thing I found was I hated the use of American words used here in England by an English narrator.
I bought this with a credit and it was worth every penny, so yes I totally recommend this listen 🌠
