About this listen
If Katherine thought that her life would get any easier in the months following her realization that Bastian was her mate, she was wrong. But dealing with the man's hot and cold behavior - it was like he had two times of the month - and surviving the Recruiting Rites were pieces of cake compared to the fierce emotional storm that envelops her when a secret is revealed, turning everything Katherine thought she knew on its head. Once betrayed, it's hard to bring herself to trust again. Once bitten, it's hard not to be shy.

Fantastic.
Fantastic story. Great love story. At last they are together. Can't wait for the next book.

Couldn't finish it ...
The narrator is excellent and perhaps made me stay with this far longer than I should have...
The whole story is much too skewed in Miss Prissy Princess's favor. The main female character is the biggest, most self-centered and ignorant fool of all time...
For the reader to wish hurt on her every step of the way just to smack some sense/reality into her uncaring, cringe-worthy, uppity and self-righteous mind to give her some sort of perspective and/or depth or character says it all. Just an immature fool with no concept of real life or fantasy life in this case. Who cares if Werewolf's are exposed, who cares if her school mate got hurt defending her, who cares about her pack worrying, who cares about her lies to her sister, parents, police, medical examinations etc., who cares about Bastian, who cares about anything but her own childish tantrums and hurt feelings- I was more grown up at the age of 7! So, overall this story is too unbelievable and honestly totally unbalanced in any universe, real or imagined.
