Summary

When a strange plastic heatwave threatens life on her island, 12-year-old Skyler must conjure up nature’s deep magic to save the green world she loves.

Join Skyler, her mum, and the climate change children as they set sail to tackle the bumbling world leaders and the greed that threatens their future.

A 21st-century fairy story about the wisdom and foresight of children. Of magic, green gadgets, and hope.

A book and linked website filled with practical ideas for children and teachers to help save the planet and pester politely for change.

With the COP26 Glasgow climate summit fast approaching, there could not be a more relevant story for young people and grown ups alike.

Let’s rise up and fight
against plastic and oil,
stop the fracking of shale
from the sand and the soil.
Dear children come join us,
your minds young and clear,
the climate change children
and Skyler are here.

Wonderful listen

It’s a lovely story, it’s very engaging, and I feel it’s a gentle way to explain to children about climate change.

My daughter loved the story… hope your children do too..

Give it a listen - you won’t be disappointed.
