Summary
Someone is watching me.
I can feel it. I wake up in the middle of the night freaked out of my mind, paranoid a stranger is there. My skin prickles every time I leave my house, because I know someone is following me.
I’m afraid. Alone.
And there’s only one person left to turn to.
The stepbrother I never met.
He’s the president of a notorious motorcycle club and exactly the kind of person I need to protect me - cutthroat, cocky, dangerous.
Little did I know, hot as all holy hell Ky Parish, downright loathes me.
You know what they say - there's a fine line between love and hate.
And I'm definitely walking it.
Slashes in the Snow is an enemies to lovers, stepbrother romance, romantic suspense (emphasis on romance) with dark elements. Listener discretion is advised.

I loved it!
It’s the first time I’ve listened to an Audible book and having the voices of the characters was a good experience! I loved the strength of the bad boy Kai and could pick parts of myself out in Kira!

ENEMIES TO LOVERS/STEPBROTHER ROMANCE
This was absolutely my kind of read and I loved it.
Not your typical step-brother romance. Kira is currently living alone in her mother's big house and strange things begin to happen, she knows someone has been coming into the house so with her mother and stepfather away she seeks out Ky who she has heard a lot about from her new stepfather and hopes he can help her.
Ky is the president of an MC since his father abandoned the club for love and he hasn't spoken to his father since. Ky is stubborn and a typical MC president, he's hard, hot and a whole lot of stubborn.
Ky has a big chip on his shoulder regarding his father and views his father's new relationship as not only the reason for abandoning Ky but the club too, so anyone associated with his father isn't going to get a warm welcome and Kira definitely didn't.
Kira may be the step-sister he has never met but she certainly isn't welcome with open arms. This is were the enemy to lovers trope come's into play.
I loved the angst, the hotness the progress from Ky and Kira's hate relationship to becoming more, the changes in Ky as he began to let Kira in and the added bonus club business and danger in the plot.
This was an all-rounder for me, I really enjoyed it, a good girl meets bad boy, I am a big fan of MC reads when written right and this certainly was written well by M Never, the balance was fantastic, I followed with ease and if this was a book I would no doubt have read in one sitting.
I listened to this in audio which was brilliantly narrated by the female narrator but the male narrator is either portraying Ky as a really, really laid back character or he just really has a voice that is monotone with not much feeling and emotion were it should have been, however, this did nor to take away my enjoyment from the story though.
Told in first person dual pov, leads to heartwarming hea. Available in KU and Audio.

All in all a quick easy enjoyable read
I quite like this book and the characters. Ky is the all encompassing alpha male, president of his MC harbouring issues of trust. Kira is the pretty blonde with a troubled past. The two get together initially because Kira, Ky's step sister needs him. Slowly their chemistry kindles and it was warming to see it develop. The sex wasn't as steamy as some I've read, but it wasn't terrible either, just mediocre.
I could read more about the MC and the men and women affiliated to it.

Stepbrother romance ❤️🔥
The chemistry goes from zero to hero. The story is well-written and covers some sensitive topics. The story ends on a happy note which is always nice.
