This is helping me so much
This book is great if you struggle with social anxiety. The author discusses the different reasons social anxiety develops and helps you identify what your personal triggers are. For me, my trigger is large crowds of people - I always feel awkward in a crowd, and even worse if it's a crowd of people I don't know. The author provides exercises that are easy to understand and implement, which has helped me a lot. I particularly found the information about CBT to be helpful - I hadn't heard of that before. I'm now practicing the exercises outlined here and noticing that I'm finding it easier to be social. It isn't perfect yet, but I feel like this is helping. If you experience social anxiety, whether it be in groups, at work, or one-on-one with people like in a dating situation, I think you'll find the information in this book to be really helpful.
