Magic exists. I know - it’s in my blood.
Unfortunately, not all people from magical bloodlines have powers, and at 22, I’m several years past the age they usually appear. So I’ve resigned myself to a boring, magic-less life.
Then something strange happens....
I get stuck in the middle of a bar fight, and instead of just punching the guy back, I blow a hole in the wall.
So...I guess I do have powers. But they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. This shit is definitely not normal.
And it seems the magical authorities agree, because they give me a choice: either I go to school to learn to control my crazy new magic, or they’ll take it away. Permanently.

Spark
This is a reverse harem, prn: magic book. A young girl who comes into her powers later than normal, and is forced to attend the academy to keep them. There are a few inconsistencies and jumps throughout the story that are hard to overlook but for the most part the story is pretty good, and isn't completely focused on the R.H.
I love Sarah Puckett's narrations, and have listed to almost all of her audio performances, I have yet to find one I didn't like. She brings the characters out and brings the book a step above what it would have been without the audio.

Romance, suspense it has it all.
This is a fabulous start to this series, the characters have been wonderfully developed and the world building and romance have been beautifully interwoven with a suspense tale that concluded in a way that I happily didn't see coming. Great story, great narration and great conclusion. Bring on the next book in this exciting series.
Sarah Puckett has become one of my favourite narrators, she delivers on all fronts and has exceptional voice acting skills.

Good Listen
This is my first book by Sadie Moss and I’m not disappointed.
I like Elliots character. She firstly and has a funny personality. The chemistry she has with her guys is 🔥. She didn’t think her magic would ever come but when it does, it’s powerful. Overall, it was an enjoyable listen.
Of course Sarah did a fantastic job narrating!

Unpredictable Magic
This was an amazing start to a new series! At age twenty-two, Elliot has come to terms that the her family’s magical bloodline has ended with her deceased parents. That is, until her sister, Maddie, has come into her powers and is being whisked away to Neptune Academy to learn to control them. Shortly after, Elliot finds herself in a one night stand, a bar fight, and then a hospital. As it turns out, her powers have finally manifested, she has unpredictable magic, and has to go to Griffin Academy or relinquish her powers forever. I really loved Elliot’s snarky and reserved personality and watching her journey of being reintroduced to the magical world. Her harem was well built and each guy has a different personality and power- Asher is insightful and can read/ control minds even though he doesn’t like to do it, Demetri is standoffish at first, but deep down he does care about her and he can phase, walk through walls, and duplicate, Kam has a fun, outgoing, and shameless personality and can absorb magic and teleport, and Roman is her professor, studious, sexy, and can raise the dead. This book was filled with betrayal, mystery, steamy scenes, and magic and I can’t wait for Elliot and her harem’s journey to continue!
Sarah did another outstanding job with this narration! I’m eager to listen to every book that she narrates because she becomes the main character with her performance and breathes their personalities to life.

Action, adventure and 4 hot guys!!
What a way to start a story! I loved all of it. The mystery, action and all the delicious romantic tension. A beautifully developed world and rich characters round out a fantastic book. I can't wait for more of this series.
Sarah is just plain fantastic. I adore her narration and drink up everything of hers I can get my hands on! She's just that good! ;-)

Five Stars
Spark is the first book in the Academy of Unpredictable Magic series by Sadie Moss. This is the first book I have read/listen to by Ms. Moss, but definitely won’t be the last. I enjoyed how the characters grew and the interaction between Elliot and her men. This book grabbed me from the very beginning and I listen to the whole book in one day.
This is also the first book that I listened to by Sarah Puckett and I think she is brilliant. She really bought the characters to life and made the book flow seamlessly.
I would highly recommend this book and series.

Whoa!
Wow. This had me glued to the edge of my seat. The writing and narration was both executed excellent. I do wish the narrator could have done a accent for dima. And I do wished Elliot was able to get closer to him as she did the other guys. So far she was only intimate with Roman with a few kisses exchanged with Asher and cam, so it doesn’t get into heavy stuff right away. Almost a slow burn. I cant decide who I’m rooting for more with the guys, dima or Roman. Both are a mystery being dark broody types. I can’t wait to read more in the series. It’s like adult Harry Potter meets marvel with a reverse harem twist. I haven’t read anything like it before.

My Thoughts on Spark
Sadie Moss is quickly rising up to the ranks of one of my favorites paranormal authors. I am slowly getting to that point where if I know I am starting a book by her I can just settle in and enjoy with confidence that this is going to be a good book. Spark was no different. I loved everything about this story. The multi layered relationships between everyone, the mystery going on in the midst of everything, and of course the magic. I'm also super excited that this is just the beginning of this series and that there are many more books to come. I can't wait to see how these characters develop individually as well as in their relationship going forward.
The narration was absolutely A++. I love Sarah Puckett. She not only has a nice variety of tone for multiple characters like this book had, but she also just exudes so much emotion in her voice that I really feel the book when she's performing it. She's absolutely one of my favorites and can probably get me to listen to just about anything. But pair her and Sadie Moss together and you've definitely got a winner for me.

This is so cool!!
I had so much fun with this book. I love Sarah Puckett. She brings something different to narrations, something more to the story. This book was so entertaining and interesting. The writing is done well, the narration fits the story, the dialogue is fun, the premise is so different from what I'm used to, but so cool. I know I love this series. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
