About this listen
First rule of Spite Club: Don’t fall for your fake boyfriend.
Here’s what happened: My boyfriend cheated on me with Nick Mason’s girlfriend. We’re both angry. What better way to get revenge than to pretend to get together out of spite?
Nick is rude and rebellious and completely freaking gorgeous. He's not my type, and I'm not his. There's no way we would work outside of our little game of dirty sex and well-kept secrets. The problem is, he's an addiction. Or, maybe, a plague.
The more time I spend with him, the more I risk my good-girl image and my carefully built life.
I might want what's bad for me. I might want Nick. And I might have to convince him - if I can survive him.

It isn’t your usual romance
This book was an excellent surprise! The beginning is unexpected, and it’s just the first of many surprising scenes. Until an ending I didn’t see coming.
It isn’t your usual romance. There’s a lot of lust–and the intimate scenes are scorching hot–and it is never mistaken for love. At least, not right from the start. Evie and Nick’s relationship needs to evolves bit by bit, and at first, it’s mostly attraction. But they discover each other, and I really enjoyed how they interfere with each other’s life.
There’s nothing conventionally romantic in this story. And yet, the small attentions they show to each other were the expression of deep feelings. There was also a bit of humor, and some drama with their families–also unusual family situations. Maybe the story and the characters deserved a bit more depth, more time/pages.
The narration was perfect! Both narrators were well matched with their characters. I loved the energy of the female narrator and the mood of the male narrator. I can’t wait to listen to them again in the next book in the series!

Fabulous
Loved this! Great story, funny, weet, hot, always suffused with warmth. From that first phone call that brought Nick into Evie's life, I knew I was going to love them together and I did. As forvthe narrators, they are off the charts good!! lLessa Lamb and Joe Arden nail both characters and bring you into the heart of the book. Honorable mention for little Scout. Totally livable...oh, and I am looking forward to learning more about Andrew! 💖💖💖💖💖

Boring
I found this story boring and would not recommend it. Evie the main character is annoying and I can’t understand what Nick likes about her. The sex is also boring. The narration was good!
