ok for a book inc in plus catalogue

this book started off well and I was quite enjoying it, but then the amount of cheesy intimate scenarios, and the poor me attitude of the main character got annoying.
I was thinking where is the actual story? I feel like the story itself could have been told in half the time and the intimate parts were written to pad it out,
I was going to listen to the rest of this series as they are also in the plus catalogue, but I don't think I'll bother...I may try the next and see if it's the same, that's a big deal for me as an avid audible listener (I'm bed bound books and TV are my escape), to pass up free entertainment says a lot

Romantic Novel with Strong Performance and Likeable Characters

If you enjoy Mills and Boon I believe this is the book will be a winner. Loved the style of writing and combine that with great delivery by the Narrator the characters were believable, warm and funny. For me personally the Story needed more substance - a bit more of a plot - felt like the story had already been told within the first third of the book and after that struggled to stay with it. Maybe author could take a few tips from book sea gate - as styles felt similar, but sea gate had a bit more grit with the story line. Nonetheless very enjoyable to a point.

Lovely feel good story

I loved this story though at times I did want to shake the character of Bella and tell her to stop being so stubborn and stupid.

I’ve marked the performance down a star not because it wasn’t as good but because the narrator needs to increase the volume of her voice as I have had to turn the volume up considerably on my car audio system to get this so that I could hear it. I’ve not had this problem with any other audiobook and I listen this way every week day on my commute to work and back. It didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the book but it does need addressing.

All in all an enjoyable book with the feel good factor that I like. I’ve already purchased the next in the series so look forward to listening to that.

Great story.

I listened to this book with England playing France at the World Cup on the TV whilst I was sewing. The book trumped the football easily.
Great narrator.

unbelievable story

Story was very unbelievable. I could see the potential of the story. some parts of the story seemed rushed, others drawn out. Too many unnecessary cringe intimate scenes.
