Summary

The Enterprise's central computer becomes infatuated with James Kirk - just as a Romulan warship attacks! But the attack is a deadly feint. The Romulans are being ravaged by a killer plague, and to save their civilization they must invade Canara, where the only known antidote can be found. Suddenly the galaxy is hurtling toward war. The Canarans threaten mass suicide and the Federation masses a counterattack against the Romulans. Kirk, his amorous computer, and the Enterprise crew have one chance left to avert an all-out conflagration: they must save their most dangerous enemies - and deliver the Romulans the antidote at any cost.

pleasant trekky diversion

old school trek with comedic computer glitches, romulan menace and some super good meetings. George takei narrates with a couple of nimoy interjections. so no issues with narration as no matter what the quality, its sulu and spock! end of.

worth a try

Good story very similar to a tv episode though Leonard Nimoy is used sparingly

horrible performance

I half expected the poor storytelling of TOS in these smaller books but wasn't expecting the poor performance of the actors. It's almost like they don't want to do the work...
