About this listen
To save Olympus, a fraternity of Greek demigods must find their true love in the mortal realm—it's Percy Jackson (for grown-ups) meets feel-good magical romance!
Zed is a demigod of storms who drifts through life, leaving a trail of broken hearts in his wake. That is, until a mortal stops him and his storm in their tracks....
Tempest is a small-town librarian, whose only adventures come from her beloved books. But all that changes when she discovers a deadly secret, and is thrown into a world of magic and adventure.
Both must work together to save their worlds. But as sparks fly between them, they learn some storms are too powerful to resist.
Storm Chaser is the first book in Sons of Olympus—a feel-good magical romance series that combines Greek mythology with contemporary romance tropes. Perfect for fans of trouble-making heroes and heroines who save the day, with light-hearted action and adventure, happily ever afters, and plenty of laughs along the way!

I think I preferred the audio to the e-book!
I was on Edens ARC team for the e-book of Stormchaser (I've also been on the team for Smoke Jumper and Wave Rider).
I was thrilled to find out that this audiobook had been released; i'ts been about 9months since I read the book - long enough to remember the characters and storylines (which is a feat in itself as I read/listen to 100-250 books per year), but enough time has past that I was ready to revisit it.
The narrator was wonderful. She brought the characters to life whilst simultaneously allowing me to relax into immersing myself into the narrative.
The narrator/voice actor can make or break an audiobook with their performance, and I was entranced by the tone of her voice.
This was a perfect sojourn away from reality for a moment in time, away from screens as the story played into my headphones.
Book 2 in the series "Smoke Jumper" is my favourite in the series of books so far, so I have high hopes for the audiobook.
If you haven't read the books, this is a new adult paranormal romance or romantasy. The Sons of Olympus need to find their fated mates to keep the fire of Olympus burning and reignite the power of the gods.
The series links mythology with the present day; the more you know about mythology, the more easter eggs you will find from those stories woven into Edens narrative.

Stormy listen
Tempest has lived in a small mining town her whole life and dreams of adventure and escaping. She love to ride her motor bike and doing it during storms is her happy place. Zed is a descendant of Zeus and a storm chaser. When they meet sparks fly or should I say lightning bolts.
This story has romance, danger. magic and storms. A great listen with excellent narration

Full of storms!
I really liked the concept of this book and thought it would be a sort of fantasy Greek gods meets MC romance. And in a way it was exactly that but it was definitely targeted to a new adult audience. The feelings between the protagonists were full of angst reminiscent of a young love. A lot of time was also spent in describing storms and, while the results were poetic, they eventually distracted the reader away from the flow of the story. Overall, this audiobook is well narrated and a fun listen.
This audiobook was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
