About this listen

When I went to the Caribbean for my friend's bachelor party, I wanted to experience white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and gorgeous women. I didn't want to almost get assassinated.

On the plus side, a beautiful mermaid saved me and magically healed my wounds. She’s got more scales than I pictured the beach babes having, but she's just as drop-dead gorgeous as I pictured them being.
The only hiccup is that I’m apparently the only one who can save her world. That's a tall order for a normal guy, so it helps when she reveals I have the mystic ability to bend the elements of water and lightning to my will.

This isn’t the kind of holiday weekend I expected, but if I can learn to master my powers then I’ll become the infamous storm mage, one of the most powerful men in the world.

Time to get soaked up and powered on!

You know what you want with this story, you get it

I was given a free copy fot this honest review. Honestly, I liked it, it is a story for a hero who is strong, struggles and grows and gets the girls. Harem and smut definitely, and good at it, but also a nice story of a white hero that saves the day. The narrators are great, you can definitely feel the life of the characters on it. I definitely recommend it.

A new mage has arrived

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Genre: Isekai fantasy Harem with beast kin

Power dynamics in harem: Girls defer to MC to call the shots
Explicit/adult material: Explicit and hot. Impregnation, fox girl and octopus girl.

Summary:
Jack is a bachelors party in the Caribbean, when suddenly he is taken away to another world. Here most humans are evil and do despicable things to beast kin in order to further their power.
He cannot accept what is happening and decides to do something about it. Luckily he has powers here. The powers to summon and manipulate water and lightning.
Jack sets out to free the beast kin from the abuse of the humans together with a growing a growing harem of hot and powerful beast kin women.

Narrators
Voice diversity: Well done. Everyone has their own voice.
Pacing and intonation: Really well done. The story telling carries you away.
Sex scenes: Work well.
Patrick DuBois and Hannah Blaire does a great job in this book.
Overall: 4.5 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- I really love the scenes of the MC interacting with the children. They are well written and super wholesome.
- This book does a great job of introducing the world and setting the stage for the rest of the series.
- The sex scenes are well done.
- Great narration

The book’s weaknesses.
- Other than race and skill sets the girls don't feel very different. I would love for them to show more personality and opinion.
