Summary

Unlikely duo Pip and Flinx return to right another wrong in this all-new sci-fi adventure from one of the genre's living legends.

Empathic Flinx and his minidrag, Pip, have saved the universe more times than they can count, but the return of an old friend pulls the duo from their retirement and plunges them into a story of intrigue and imagination. The planet of Largess has recently opened itself to trade with the human-dominated Commonwealth. But when the daughter of a powerful chieftain goes missing, authorities believe a covert agent to be the cause. They need someone to track down the princess and roust the troublemaker and to do so without alerting the whole planet to their involvement. Can Pip and Flinx, perpetual fish out of water, save the day?

Unbearable!

I was really looking forward to this. The first few chapters were great. Then the narrator starts singing. Yes, singing! The main species in the story communicate only by singing everything they say.
It's agonisingly bad. After ten minutes of toneless, off key warbling I had to stop. It's pure torture. I don't understand how this was cleared for release.
DO NOT BUY.
