Wonderful!

One of the best parts of Anna Hackett’s books is just how strong the women are and Hadley is no different. Striker is amazing- smart, strong with shopping as a vice. My type of heroine. I loved her throughout the stories as she helped the other women in the prior stories and I was so happy to see her get her HEA with Bennett. Loved the reference to Jane Austen too. An exciting ride with fantastic character, tension and action, and a team approach to kicking butt. So fun!!

And the audiobook is even better, if that's possible. Brought to life by Stella bloom and Teddy Hamilton, I admit these two are favorites. So I absolutely loved how they brought the story to life. What a wonderful way to relive this exciting story!

Action packed

These books are absolutely packed full of action. There’s no rest from the intense storyline. With so much happening I didn’t want to put it down. Life was definitely put on pause!! A fantastic performance from both narrators.

I’m hooked

This series has it all. Suspense and the kind of love stories that make you swoon. Strong capable heroines and their equally strong and supportive heroes, tight knit groups of friends/colleagues and a fast paced action story. I can’t wait for more.

Great book

Another riveting story in this wonderful series. This is Hadley and Bennett’s story. Full of twists and turns and hot , steamy romance. Can’t wait to read and listen to Killian’s book next.

I want more!

Both the author and the female narrator were new to me.
I really liked the story because it had everything a book should have: interesting characters, an exciting plot, action and of course some romance and hot scenes.

Both narrators did a great job and it was a pleasure to listen to them. An entertaining audiobook that I highly recommend! And now I'm curious about the next volume in the series.

Terrific Story & Listen🎧 Riveting & Action-Packed

I enjoyed this book immensely, it is a fast-moving story, one that is hard to put down once you start because you need to know what happens next. Though this is the third book in the series, it is my first and I had no problem jumping into the existing world, never feeling lost or that I am missing something not having read or listened to the first two books, books I definitely want. Anna Hackett created an amazing world when she created this series, the characters are fantastic too. Hadley “Striker” Lockwood was an MI6 agent, and she has put her skills to use working for Sentinel Security in New York. She is fearless and fierce and great at what she does, even senses when something is not right and trouble is around before it happens. Billionaire Bennett Knightley, former SAS in the British Army, now runs a company that makes high-tech gear for soldiers. He had a failed mission before leaving SAS and the high-tech protective gear his company Secura makes available for soldiers helps him deal with his guilt for not being able to save everyone on his team. This gear can prevent others from the same fate. Despite his good intentions, someone is trying to sabotage his company, shipments go missing and some of his employees are being manipulated and used. Sentinel Security is on the case with Hadley going undercover as an employee working closely with Bennett. Those two made a great team, not only working well together, but the chemistry between them is undeniable, though Hadley refuses to give into it. Bennett could tell that Hadley is quite jaded about relationships, and she built a wall around her heart, but he is not giving up on her. This fantastic romantic suspense has the perfect balance of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and romance. Anna Hackett, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton are the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited that character, accent and all, and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance, making you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
