Summary

Low angst, very sweet
Loved this so much. Yes, the miscommunication plagued the relationship, but I just really enjoyed the pacing and the narrator is my absolute favorite and he just really made this book sing. I super enjoyed it!

Great story
I liked Sweet on You as I love age gap and this one was really enjoyable. I like the heat and involvement of all the family. I don’t get to read many books about dentists, but I like mine, so it’s always cool to read about one. It’s also another of the Caldwell Brothers series that I only listened to, not read (gotta correct that). I liked Nikola’s voice and pace and really enjoyed listening to this romance.

Age gap romance handled very well
I am always a little nervous starting an office romance book as the power differential that inevitably exists between boss and employee can be problematic unless handled well. The two characters here work without that power imbalance being a problem because Adrian, the younger employee, is the one clear about what he wants. Kane, the older employer, is an emotional mess with a seriously problematic family. He is the one who has to grow up in the course of this story. Unfortunately, he hurts Adrian badly in that process. There were times I loved these guys together and times I wanted to tell them it would be best if they separated - a real roller coaster of emotions but all in a good way for the story. Read this one if you are in the mood for emotional ups and downs with some heavy but not dark angst. Nikola Muckajev is a new narrator for me and I enjoyed his work very much. The timbre of his voice is perfect for the hot scenes and his matter of fact delivery in the rest of the story makes the characters and their emotions seem real.

Spicy and beautiful
I really liked this piece! Seeing the difference between all the characters was one of my favourite parts. Every character had this distinct part of them that made them, them. The story was well thought out and the world built around the main characters was intriguing.
Kane, a sexy older man who thinks he’s got life figured out has his whole world changed by one much younger man. They come from very different worlds, most of all their family status and the relationship they each have their their family. On top of the age difference, they have a lot of things against them including family, friends and life.
The authors did a really great job putting together a series that leads into the next so smoothly. We get to see lots of foreshadowing for the next book and are left worried about our happy big family and needing more Of the Caldwell boys HEA!
The narrator was excellent! Bringing life to the characters and passion to heated moments both spicy and emotional, Nikola gave this piece something special!

Sweet on You - cute
This was a good listen. It mostly kept my attention though there were times when the drama felt a bit manufactured or not as severe as it was made out to be. Overall enjoyable. I had to speed up the narration a fair bit to make it listenable to me. Not the worst narrator, but not going on my must-listen list either.

Adrian and Kane
Adrian is looking at becoming a dentist, but he is unsure if it is the right profession, he gets a part time assistant job at Lakeshore Dental, where the hot Dr Kane will be his boss. Kane has dated younger men and it has been a nightmare but the attraction is there and they have a 1 night stand, which doesn't stay that way, Adrian has to show Kane he isn't like the others. Brilliantly written and narrated

Sweet
Another great addition to the series by Aiden Bates and Ali Lyda. Adrian and Kane were great characters to get to know. This was a nice easy listen that kept me entertained. Nikola Muckajev did a super job with the narration. Loving the Caldwell Brothers Series.

Where do I start with Kane?
Kane literally done my head in - he was like a broken record; playing the same tune over and over again. There were times I just wanted to scream at him especially, when he used the immaturity card on Adrian.
I adored Adrian; he was sweet and funny but being around Kane bought out a more quieter, distant and desolate Adrian. I was relieved when Kane sorted himself out because it bought out the real, fun loving Adrian.
I really enjoyed this one.

This was such an entertaining audiobook!
