TOP 100 INTERNATIONAL AMAZON BESTSELLER
From USA Today Bestselling Authors Cora Kenborn and Catherine Wiltcher comes Corrupt Gods, a brand new arranged marriage mafia duet.
A Carrera is a master of deception.
A Santiago never forgets.
Santi Carrera is the war I never saw coming.
A beautiful liar.
Ruthless.
Captivating…
The architect of my own undoing.
He twisted my loyalty into an ultimatum.
He chained me to his side with a vow of deceit.
I should despise him for all he’s done to me...
But behind those dark eyes, I see his pain.
I recognize his conflict because it’s ours to share.
Now, I’m a pawn in a new war.
Stolen by a stranger, I’ve been taken to a foreign land.
My fate rests in the fragile truce between our families.
They will tear this world apart to find me.
But he's the only man who can save me.
*This is book 2 of a new dark romance duet. Bad Blood, book 1, is live.
**Tainted Blood is set in the Santiago and Carrera worlds, but it is NOT necessary to have read either trilogy beforehand."

Worth the wait
It seems like forever since I listened to book 1 and I was eager to start this. With Talia and Lola kidnapped by traffickers the Santiago and Carrera families call a truce to work together to save them . Love love loved this and so happy Talia and Sante get their HEA.

Dark Mafia Romance
Tainted Blood by Cora Kenborn and Catherine Wiltcher is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Vivienne LaRue. This is the second book in the Corrupt Gods Duet and is set in the Santiago and Carrera worlds. It is not necessary to read either trilogy beforehand.
I was so excited when Cora and Catherine teamed up on this duet. I absolutely loved both of their trilogy's and they definitely didn't disappoint on this duet. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The relationship between Thalia and Santi is messy but you can't help but root for them.
Aaron and Vivienne did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this series if you like dark romances, mafia romances, arranged marriages, or romantic suspense.

WOW! What an ending!
I was so excited when this was released! I needed part two of the Corrupt Gods Duet. After the ending of Bad Blood, I loved Santi Carrera and Thalia Santiago together, and the cliffhanger had me on the edge just waiting to see how this unlikely couple was going to fair. Thalia was taken, and Santi is now on a mission to save his wife. The truce between these two mafia families is going to be the only chance there is in finding and saving her, and the chance of that happening is next to zero. Catherine Wiltcher and Cora Kenborn are such an incredible writing team and have created an original story with so many twists and turns, and intrigue that had me listening all day to find out the conclusion. This is the best kind of romantic suspense and I hope we get more from this team!
Aaron Shedlock and Vivienne LaRue finish out the series with their amazing performance. The darkness is real, the suspense felt and the characters spot on. Shedlock gives Santi his accent, so perfect and we can fear him and love him. LaRue comes through with a strength for Thalia, and a feeling of hope until she can no longer. These two know how to create their characters and pull us in, capturing our attention and making us stay. Loved it!

I'm in love with C&K writing 😍❤️🔥
I’ve wanted to get to this duet for so long!!!
You can call me Hannah or the one who goes nuts whenever it comes to Mafia books - especially if they're written by Cora and Catherine!😂
Talia Santiago is the daughter of Dante Santiago - the head of the Mexican mafia. And just like most mafia princesses she just wants to live a normal life.
She rents an apartment with her sister, Ella, and they go to school as they always dreamed, like completely normal women.
So far seems normal huh? Yes... spoiler alert - it doesn't last 😂 because these two princesses attract trouble to them like magnets.
Talia is being blackmailed and must earn a huge pile of money to protect her sister's honor, she decides to get it on her own without involving her father in order not to start another cartel war.
She's a natural winner, she sweeps victory after victory in the casino clubs, except that she enters Santi Carrera's casino without knowing that she is entering the lion's den.
Santi Carrera, the son and successor of Valentin Carrera (the head of the Colombian cartel) perceives the situation - a mafia princess is served to him on a golden tray of chips.
And he asks himself what is the best way to throw a big F&#k you to the enemy? He weaves the perfect plan with a devilish smile on his lips.
Everything I love and more, immersive writing, an insanely strong heroine, crazy as hell twists, a grumpy hero (just like his father🥺😂), difficult triggers, once of a lifetime love and much more❤️
So I'll conclude by saying that I laughed a lot at the exchange of fire between Talia and Santi, I almost tore out all my hair from stress, I was on edge so many times because of all the tension and twists that the authors wrote (I may or may not screamed at them through the phone screen) a roller coaster of emotions and it's worth every moment!
This recommendation is dedicated with love to all mafia lovers - your sister always makes hot recommendations for you ❤️🔥

The best ending,
This is book 2 of Santi and Thalia's story. This is their conclusion, and if you thought book 1 was good then you are in for a treat. The details and drama in this book were amazing. It was gut wrenching and heart warming all at the same of time. I loved it, even the pain and turmoil. Thalia and Santi are meant to be, there is no question about that. I loved every bit of this book.
Aaron Shedlock and Vivienne LaRue did amazing, the accents, the drama... they brought this story to life and it was perfect.

Loved this duet!
It’s been a while since I listened to the first book of this suspenseful duet where I was left in horror for both Thalia and Lola, and my heart fell when I heard where they were taken and who took them. This book grips one right from that jaw dropping situation and throws the horror of where these two women ended up then shocking us by what they had to endure and survive from.
Aaron was amazing, his characterization of Santi was full of emotions which I couldn’t get enough of as he shows us the lengths he’s willing to go to saving his wife and sister. His belief and determination that he would destroy those that took them carries through to the end. And Vivienne’s portrayal of Thalia was also wrought in emotions that showed just how determined and strong Thalia is. These two sizzle together and the ending shows just how much stronger these two mafia families are together. Brilliant Mafia story with originality in the suspenseful, tense scenes really captured everything that I want in this genre and that this author combination showcases amazingly.
I believe Kenborn and Wiltcher are queens of suspenseful mafia romance and I hope that they continue their collaboration with other supporting characters in the future.

A great listen!
Second part of the Corrupt Gods duet, I LOVED this book. Listened to it in one sitting.
Santi and Talia's story continues with him rallying the troops to track where their enemy has taken his new wife. Vivienne LaRue definitely stole the show with her narration and Aaron Shedlock was great too as mafia boss Santi Carrera.
This book has everything you could possibly want from a Mafia/Cartel listen. I definitely want to check out Lola & Sam's book next but now I'm pulled in a few directions lol Ella's story and RJ's romance with the New Jersey Mafia Princess Rosalia are teased at in this book, I will absolutely be checking those out as well.

Mind-blowing!!
Tainted Blood is a dark, suspenseful, and gritty mafia romance set in the Santiago and Carrera world. A masterfully written tale of deception, love, vengeance, and loyalty by two incredibly talented authors, Catherine Wiltcher and Cora Kenbore. Wiltcher and Kenbore each complement the story with their distinctive style, making Santi Carrera and Thalia Santiago's passionate journey utterly captivating. Santi and Thalia are born into two rival Cartel families at war for over two decades, making the bad blood between the families beyond tainted.
Tainted Blood literally picked up right after the stunning cliffhanger at the end of Bad Blood. Right from the get-go, I was at the very edge of my seat with excitement, not knowing what direction the story would take. The storyline is riveting, raw, action-packed, thrilling, exciting, and wholly unpredictable, packed with shocking revelations and twists. Santi is one of my favourite characters; he is a hot-blooded, ruthless, dominating, and totally swoon-worthy man. When it comes to Thalia, he is fiercely protective and would go to the ends of the earth to find her. The dark and intense scenes were balanced, with Santi and Thalia, passion, growth, and fiery chemistry. This was a terrific listen, gripping and unforgettable.
Aaron Shedlock and Vivienne LaRue performed flawlessly. They did a phenomenal job capturing the intensity of the scenes and the raw emotions that reverberated from the characters. Tainted Blood is a mind-blowing dark Mafia romance with outstanding narration, one I highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed.
