Great
Very helpful book. I've listened to it once but will have to listen to it many times to get the most out of it. From someone who has terrible ADD, thank you Russell.

very informative (and hurtful...err... helpful)
Beside the massive amount of information about how ADHD manifests in adults, I did like that the author made clear that medication is the most helpful tool.
I learned a lot about myself, or more so, that a lot is based on ADHD, and not me being lazy or stupid.
if you are (as me) somebody who was diagnosed rather late in life, listen to this. Grieve the possibilities we missed, and be amazed that there are still chances for us to succeed :)

Recommended for newcomer to the subject
I found this book incredibly helpful and informative. It goes through syndromes, medications, helpful lifestyle changes to do, life stories and most importantly it motivates you to get appointment with a specialist if you are hesitant as the author emphasizes how ADHD is in comparison with other behaviour/anxiety/personality disorders much more treatable.

Helpful
I don’t have ADHD, however listened to grasp a better understanding of it. I understand how helpful medication can be and how it’s possible to design and set up structures to help a person with ADHD.

Mostly good, but...
I'm middle aged and recently received a late diagnosis of ADHD -- something I kinda knew already, but thought I'd slipped through the net as a result of growing up in the 70s. Thankfully, the psychiatrist who picked up on it, told me my results were 'off the scale' and therefore fast-tracked me through the system and straight into treatment.
The book was helpful to the point of explaining the problem -- and there seriously is a problem -- but when it came to the section on working on solutions I found myself getting bored and losing focus -- and kinda giving up as I know my brain won't do any of these suggestions.
However, I wonder whether my response is typical, because I also have dyspraxia and Asperger's, which could potentially make my diagnosis a little more complex than standard ADHD.

A complete manual!
rely good content, super happy with the learnings I got here. Narration is good, very engaging. only the parts that talks about the data could be a little bit better executed, I don't know how, but it was a bit exhausting

An invaluable resource
This is invaluable for any adult living with ADHD, diagnosed or undiagnosed. Packed full of facts, advice and guidance. Easy to follow along with as it's broken down into small chunks. Very ADHD friendly. The narrator's reading is clear and his voice fits the tone of the book very well.
