All consuming

I’ve loved this series. The short stories allowed for a little more immersion. Well written and interesting, complex characters. Can’t wait for her new book in 2025.

An excellent addition to the duology but I suspect not to be read as a stand alone.

The story continues after the events of the second book (heart of the sun warrior) and some previous events (sort of prequel) as well as delving further into events that occurred in the same time line as the original duology. Whilst the author resets the context for each chapter, I don’t think the stories will be as enjoyable for someone not having read the previous books so I recommend delving into this magnificent world from book 1 (daughter of the moon goddess).
