Was looking forward to this...
I Found Tucci`s "foodie" videos a while back and really love them, but in this book he comes across as a complete snob. His telling a story of his "humble life", although it does not sound that humble. Tucci reads the book in way that`s saying I am better than you and I know it. His reading of this book sounds just tired.

A fabulous book, highly recommended
I purchased this book after seeing it written up in one of the Sunday papers. Ii was not disappointed. This really is a fabulous book. Im a great fan of Stanley Tucci as an actor but had no idea of his culinary talent at all. The recipes he gives in the book are provided with such warmth and always a great story to accompany them. It is a very touching book written about his family and the trials that a lot of us face, the passing of a loved one is hard for anyone, however he tells his story so well. An incredible man, his book so made me smile so many times. Highly recommended. Particularly as the author reads it, it couldnt be anyone else.

Absolutely Superb
If I could give Stanley Tucci’s Taste 6 stars, I would. I absolutely loved it.
A (mainly) light romp through Stanley Tucci’s life focused on his love/obsession/appreciation of food. The book is laugh out loud funny, insightful and hugely warm. Plus a couple of great tales involving Meryl Streep.
I listened to the audiobook and I cannot recommend this route more highly. It is narrated by Stanley Tucci and he brings with it a superb delivery and wit.
If you look food and/or Stanley Tucci, this one is for you.

Simply Delicious!
Stanley Gucci’s autobiographical love letter to La Dolce Vita overflows with warmth and a soul-deep passion for the many and varied pleasures of the table.
A must-listen for experienced foodies and aspirant epicureans alike. A feel-good antidote to these uncertain times, the heady cocktail of Tucci’s agile prose and characteristic dry humour make every chapter a delight. Highly recommended!
