Will it really happen
A clear set of requirements for the net zero delivery but predicated on a) All global politicians aligning on policy and b) the cost of the new technologies reducing rapidly by factors of 10 to make them the cheaper option. All whilst the oil & gas industry fights to defend its position….

Defined the challenges ahead
I’ve not read a huge amount on this subject yet, but I found the 5 pillar framework a really simple method for illustrating the path and industries required to achieve net-zero.
The writer doesn’t get bogged down in the politics of implementation, and it comes across as a very Western / Capitalist approach to the problem, but it’s a very accesible and thought provoking read on the subject
