story quite good narration not so
struggled to finish but felt obligated. story quite good but stopping and starting makes it a little hard to follow. narration - not so good. no real passion or emphasis.

A strong follow-up
I was originally put of by the trailer at the end of the previous audio book but really glad i bought it anyway. It is set in 'modern' times rather than a total sci-fi future. Recommended.

A good listen, if a little descriptive at points
I enjoyed this book a lot. The story went from the previous installment and flowed through nicely, continuing to develop the characters. A complicated look at fantasy version of a very real planet earth that sometimes goes a bit heavy on the narrative. The narrator is good, on the whole. I'm afraid my usual irritation with an American's lack of ability to pronounce various words is still there, but on the whole a good read and I'm looking forward to the final installment!

Very good listen
Very good sequel to the Atlantis Gene, explaining the origins of humankind. I enjoyed following the story, I could imagine everything very clearly and the pace kept me engaged the whole time. Would recommend.

Good story disappointingly read
I loved this book and all of the trilogy.
The reader is very clear and easy to understand but is often reading in a strange and unusual pattern. Pregnant pauses appear at the wrong places and the rhythm is all wrong. The imitation of accents is awful. Also, in the book itself, there are gaps and little icons separating different situations and groups of people. There is no such indication in the way it is read and it can take several moments to realise that we have now switched to a different place in the story. Otherwise excellent plot.

Heavy going but worth it in the end
Would you listen to The Atlantis Plague again? Why?
It took me a long time to get through this needing to read a few other books in between as it can get very drawn out in the middle not seeming to go anywhere just round in circles but at about 3/4 through the story picks up and comes to a conclusion

Its the second book in the trilogy and moved the story along

the book is part of a trilogy this is just and excuse for procrastinator I am sure the whole story could have been condensed a bit and I will think twice before downloading the third episode.

the last quarter really dragged
this book starts off quite well quite detailed and you really need to use your imagination but it's quite a good book but I have to admit it started to drag in the last quarter. I'd like to see it as a movie
