Getting better

These characters are getting better as the series continues. With lots of issues throwing themselves in this couples way, can they get through it? Lots of action as well as twists and turns. Great performance.

Gio & Francesca

After Gio is injured Francesca rushes to his beside where she realises he’s everything she’s ever wanted and she needs to stop pulling away from the truth. Another fab book in the Brooklyn Kings series and I can’t wait for the Irish Mafia guys to get their books.

Loving this series!

This series just keeps getting better and better! The Brooklyn Kings continue to keep me on edge, plus have me falling in love. Romantic suspense at it's best. This is Gio and Francesca's story and it's a fabulous listen. Francesca is still recovering from being assaulted several years ago. Putting on a brave face, everyone thinks she is fine, but Giovanni knows better. He is in love with her, and his patience is slowing coaxing her into living again. But just as things get moving, a revelation in the family is revealed that may change everything. A twist no one sees coming that will change the ranks, and we know that what that will do to this syndicate. Will Gio and Francesca get their happily ever after? Will it all blow up in their faces? This third book is full of ups and downs with a few twists that kept me captivated. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Eva Caine and Walker Williams fall into their characters with ease and make this listen complete entertainment. I love both of their voices and enjoyed their portrayal of all the players in this story. The suspense is built, the romance blossoms and all the feels went straight to my heart. It's an enjoyable audio!

Forbidden Love!

Another hit by LK Shaw! The Beast I Can't Tame, the third book in the Brooklyn Kings series, is a well-written and Forbidden Mafia romance. Giovanni (aka Gio) and Francesca were utterly captivating; I was completely enthralled. I've been waiting for their story from the start of the series. The dynamic and the connection between them was stunningly portrayed. Francesca is a true survivor; she had suffered, overcome brutal trauma and still carried the scars. Gio was a soldier in the family and had worked his way up the ladder, and still, Francesca was forbidden to him. He had fought his long attraction to Francesca for many years. Never feeling like he was good enough for her. Gio and Francesca's journey is fraught with obstacles, danger, secrets, cruelty, turmoil, and heartache. In the face of it all, they stood by and never gave up on each other. Their story is by far my favourite.

Once again, Eva Caine and Walker Williams performed flawlessly. They embodied Gio and Francesca, emulating the intensity of their emotions, passion, and desire, bringing their story to life. The Beast I Can't Tame is a wonderfully written and suspenseful forbidden romance with quality narration. It was definitely worth the listen.

Forbidden Lovers Mafia Romance

The Beast I Can't Tame by LK Shaw is a forbidden lovers mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Eva Caine and Walker Williams. This is the third book in the Brooklyn Kings series.

This is the third book of LK's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Giovanni and Francesca. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Irish Devil to be released on audio so I can get Aurora and Jack's story.

Eva and Walker did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like forbidden romances, mafia romances, contemporary romance, or romantic suspense.

Great Listen!

The Beast I Can't Tame is book 3 in the Brooklyn Kings Series.

I was looking forward to Francesca and Giovanni's story after listening to book 2. These two have been dancing around each other and their feelings. Loved watching their connection grow into a great relationship. Francesca went through a traumatic experience several years ago and Giovanni treated her with such care and Gio, also had some issues to work through but they both helped the other heal and be there for them during the hard times. There was secrets, suspense, and many twists and turns throughout the story.

Overall, this a was great addition to this series and one I really found entertaining with wonderful characters.

Eva Caine and Walker Williams did a fantastic job with the narration and making me feel connected to the story.

Book Three ❤️❤️❤️

Gianna is so sweet and gentle, this book has less heat but more passion. It's a slow burn and for a reason that comes to light in Book One. The story follows from book two. It's nice getting updates on the other characters as the king's guys' lives unfold. Book Four moves on and we follow the Irish Boys, Brenna’s brothers. Can't wait.
