Utterly captivating

I wasn’t sure if this was my thing. There are a lot of characters that are individually narratored and haven’t listened to a audio with so many. How wrong I was was to hesitate. Having so many narrators made it easy to immediately distinguish the different characters. All the narrators are 5🌟. Kristen Ashley is a Legend, I truly don’t know how her mind conjures up these stores but I’m so thankful that she does. I’m am hooked!!

Incredible

Honestly one of the best audiobooks I've listened to! It has such a great romance throughout the series. The performers are great. It feels like you're watching a movie. Great plot, great entertainment. Truly enjoyed!

Once it gets going, you cannot stop.

It takes me about 45 minutes to drive to work and back, each way. This is my audible time. It took a few chapters to get started, but boy, once the characters and plot is sorted, I couldn't stop listening. I even spent and extra few minutes in the car park just listening. The characters are brought to life by the many readers, which makes them quickly identifiable throughout the book. Absolutely loved the story. Can't wait to continue the story.

Uncontained Reading

I loved this read. I usually listen to my chosen audiobook on my commute to and from work....but this one I have been listening all sort of time day and night. LOVE IT!!!!
I am starting the next one right now.

Confusing but really addicting w/ amazing cast

I just love this series, even if this book can be a little confusing due to all the povs. When I first read it I had to re-read straight away because I needed to get a grip of all the characters. Despite that, it is a enchanting series, set in the same parallel universe as Fantasyland but another continent. The interaction of the 4 couples is quite interesting and full of sexual tension. The priests are unbelievable, it's very easy to dislike them.....so much more to happen. Can't wait.

Pleasant surprise

I really enjoyed this book and all using a full cast to tell this story the best choice for a story with do many characters it helps to distinguish them. I will be starting the second book right now!

Decent book but weak series

I normally don’t like audio books with full casts, but I have to admit the narration for this book was outstanding. The different voices helped keep the many characters straight in my head and they all read smoothly without awkward pauses or grating accents. The story had promise and did enough to keep me listening but the character development felt rather YA genre (which it clearly isn’t given the frequent, often very rough sex scenes). I suspect the author is trying to mimic GOT with unnecessary sex and graphic violence. Unfortunately, this book’s sole purpose is clearly to set up the rest of the series and I found it rather disappointing. Not terrible, but each book was progressively weaker. So I would recommend giving the whole series a miss.
