Sweet romance!

A new to me author and narrator, I took a chance on this novella and fell in love! Brie is the daughter in a wealthy family and takes a bet with her best friend to try to get Jessie, a SWAT officer to propose to her. In the mean time, her father cuts her off from her funds and tells her to get a job and become more responsible. Now as part of the working class, she and Jessie take the time to get to know each other, and Brie learns there is more than being spoiled and selfish. I loved this story for a couple of reasons. Lorana Hoopes wove the thread of helping others into her romance. Seeing how Jessie took time to go spend time with kids who were sick, and how just being there made their lives better gives us that feeling of hope and love. I also liked how Brie was able to realize there is so much more to life than her little bubble. It is a fun, loving listen.

Sarah Sampino does a wonderful narration of this story. It's my first listen of hers, and I enjoyed her pace and voices. I am looking forward to more.

So I have to say I really loved this story. This story is light and the characters are very well developed. This was a beautiful love story and I am looking forward to reading more from Lorana Hoopes! Sarah Sampino did an excellent job of bringing this story to life! Excellent simply excellent.

Lawfully Pursued

This was the first book I have read by Lorana Hoopes and also the first book in the Lawkeepers series.
The book/audio is a short, clean, Christian contemporary read. I thought it was a very sweet romance, it was time for Brie to grow up and learn the reality of life and she was lucky to have Jesse around to guide her.

I’ve listened to a few narrations by Sarah Sampino and as always the performance was really great.

really nice story.

This story is so pretty. Reading {listening :) } about Jesse (I love JEsse) and Brie was quick and captivating. this was a short listen, but the story was richly told. Brie and Jesse coming together as they did was pretty neat. I am not sure that Brie would have given him a chance otherwise. Really good story.

Opposites Attract!

Jesse and Bree make an unlikely Pair he's the serious type while she's the spoiled type. I like the relationship between them and how Bree grew as a person. This story was really sweet.

Impromptu love

Love this story of Jessie and Brie. A spoiled bored rich girl and a man in uniform. She comes to care more for him then just the bet she had with her friend. He realizes there is more to her than just a spoiled rich girl. As they follow they hearts with this bet destroy them.
Sarah Sampino is an amazing narrator. She has a great voice.

Beautiful Clean Romance

A nice clean Christian romance, it is a quick listen at just over 3 hours in length.
Brie’s friend Ariel offers a bet, if Brie gets someone to fall in love and propose to her, then she will get a date with Ariel’s famous movie star brother...the bet is on!
Now Brie is a billionaire’s daughter, she has lived off her father all of life, and her lifestyle is what you would expect, partying, shopping etc without a care in the world. Until her father cuts her off, tells her to get a job and be more responsible. Her world has changed a lot and when she sets her sights on Jesse a member of the SWAT team, to fulfil her bet she bits off more than she bargains for and starts falling for him. What is she going to do about the bet?
The love story is so sweet, I didn’t like Brie to start with but I did warm up to her. Jesse, on the other hand, was everything you could want in a man.
It was written so beautifully and was narrated perfectly, I felt like I was in the moment listening to this.
