About this listen
“What do you want from this? From us?”
“That depends on what you are willing to give me.”
Maya:
I hadn’t seen him in years.
But he looked just as sexy, just as powerful, just as deadly.
I shouldn’t want him, not when I need his protection.
But I feel so safe and loved in his arms.
Being wrong has never felt so right.
Dominic:
She needs my protection, not my passion.
But I have to have her.
Even if it means moving in with her and sharing her bed.
I wasn't supposed to falling in love with my stepsister.
Especially when I have a secret, a past that could threaten to tear us apart.
The Billionaire’s Protection is a suspenseful stepbrother romance with plenty of heat, a guaranteed HEA and no Cliffhangers!

Romantic suspense
This short but spicy book checked off all the boxes for a fun afternoon audiobook. Nothing too angsty, just a little mystery and a conniving parent/stepparent.
Great narration added personality to the characters. I'd definitely read more by this author and listen to more by these narrators.

protection
I loved the dual narration from Natalie Armstrong and Christian Turner, who bring the emotions, angst, drama and heat to your ears. Perfect.
Maya has a stalker and rightly feels unsafe, but with no proof her friend Rachel tells her to defence classes, but her own mother tells her she is being silly and offers her no support.
Maya is surprised when her self defence teacher turns out to be Dominic her ex step-brother. From the start there is a connection. Dominic saves her from danger he convinces her to let him stay with her as added protection.
I loved how these two are honest about how they feel from the start. And how their love just grows. But not everyone is happy. With the stalker upping there game and Maya getting hurt. Dominic leaves Maya through guilt as he believes it is his fault.
Loved the characters, oh the twists and turns, never mind the heat between Maya and Dominic.

Great action
This book has an exciting storyline that I didn’t want to end. The characters are likeable and both narrators give them their personalities very well. Very enjoyable.

Great Story!
I was given a free copy for review.
This is Book 4 in this series and in my opinion, a far better book (story and narration) than book 3!
Surprisingly (to me), the narration was far superior for the characters in this story, even though the narrators were both the same!
The characters were all great and believable, the protagonists were engaging and likeable. The storyline original and delivered nicely.
I’m beginning to think that the trope for this series is not “just” a Billionaire one, it also seems to be coupled with ex-step siblings…
