About this listen
[It is said that Noah, after the flood, asked his son to build a temple resembling an Ark, with an altar in the middle of which burns an everlasting flame. He asked him to gather around nine men which shall be called the “Companions of the Ark”. The son carried out his father’s will, and as the years passed by, the Ark remained the same, but the companions changed: Instead of being satisfied and content with what was necessary, they gathered properties, gold, and money, and turned into priests guarding the superficiality of religion and the shallowness of their priesthood. It so happened that one of the companions died, and a young fellow came to the gates asking to be admitted into the community. The Senior, however, rejected the request thus breaking the tradition of the ark and was not willing to change his mind unless the young man was admitted as a servant and not a companion. When the young man joined the ark, all abundance came with him; and so came a curse that muted the responsible and bound him to the floor of the temple.]

One of the best Books in Arabic -
I have been buying audio books on Audible.com and audible.co.uk for more than 10 years, and this is the first time I find a valuable audiobook in Arabic!
This is probably the best book by Mikhail Neaime and could be considered as one of the best books in the Arabic world... Very deep, esoteric, and inspiring! Highly rich is eloquent prose and deep insights... Hoping the publisher will provide similar recordings to the other books of Mikhael Naime, and other deep authors like Gebran Khalil Gebran, Joseph Majdalani (JBM) and Najib Mahfouz.
The Audio book recording was of a high quality, very enjoyable to listen to, and crystal clear. The tone and pronunciation of the narrator Mohamed Ibrahim were excellent!
Well done!
