The perfect birthday or the perfect nightmare?
Katelyn smiles around at her husband and friends, gathered to celebrate her 36th birthday in their beautiful home decorated with fairy lights. But the next day Katelyn wakes up shaken and terrified in a hospital bed....

Weird story of mental heath issues and resentment.
I really persevered with this story. Unfortunately I found it a little boring. Nothing much happened, the narrator was excellent, but the basis of the story was a confusing mix of many things. Quite unbelievable and I felt no empathy for any of the characters. None of them seemed in control of themselves!
I'm still unsure of what actually happened to the main character. Disappointing is the one word I would use.
