Summary
Bridget Kittrick, headstrong and independent, is ready to show her worth when she's left in charge of her family's estate. She meets Lincoln Huntley, a man with a mysterious past which only heightens her attraction to him.
A vicious neighbour, Mr Roache, holds a grudge against the family and orchestrates for Bridget to be kidnapped by wanted men, bushrangers, who take her deep into mountainous country to a hideout. The Boss, Donovan, is unlike any other man Bridget has known and he soon shows her a side to him that pulls at her heart.
Only, he is a runaway convict, and she the daughter of a wealthy family. Lincoln Huntley refuses to give up on rescuing her - perhaps her love will be the salve to his wounds, or will he be too late to save Bridget from herself?

Ending too rushed
Loved all 3 books, but out of all of them this felt a little rushed at the end.
Maybe that’s how they it was supposed to be, to leave room for another book

Wonderful Story, but a follow up is needed
This 3rd book in the series is superb, just like the two previous books in the series.
Beautifully written and narrated. However it needs a follow up, too many unanswered questionsb.... more please.

left wanting more
I loved this series so much, I was left wanting more.
The main characters are now etched in my memory and will be with me always.
I truly love AnneMarie Brear books and I fully recommend them all to you.
