About this listen
Three entangled fates; one powerful love....
Bailey Wheeler has received some devastating news; he only has three months to live. Unwilling to be a burden, he breaks up with his love, Carson.
Carson Matthews has a secret. A secret he's hidden from the man he loves and a secret that could cost him everything.... He's a vampire.
Dragon shifter Lord Alexios Dranin is a leader among his people. He leads the black caste dragons, the assassins of the dragon world. Despite being a killing machine, Alex has always wanted to find his Cardia—his heart.
Circumstance brings the men to Club Renegade, and three things quickly become apparent: Bailey and Carson are both Alex's heart. Carson is to help Alex kill the witch Harper in service to the dragon king. And wooing Bailey is going to be no easy task.
What can go wrong when two alpha males try to court Bailey while attempting to track and kill a witch?

Great story and performance
Club Renegade serves as the focal point to get this story going. Alex, Bailey and Carson meet and discover they are all fated mates. Bailey's illness causes difficulties for the trio, but fortunately, Alex and Carson have powers Bailey has been unaware of. These three establish a strong bond and Alex and Carson have a task to perform tied to Alex being a dragon assassin. This series just keeps getting better and better as more secrets come into the light but also, there are still tantalizing clues to where the series is going. Aaron Ross gives a great performance here. All the characters are clearly delineated, the emotional tone is captured perfectly and the world building narrative never drags.

A sexy dragon and his mates
This is the fourth book of the series, which I like very much. This time it's about Bailey, who separates from his friend with a heavy heart and for a good reason. That he shortly runs into the dragon shifter Alexios, who recognizes him as his mate, changes everything. Bailey is not the only mate of Alexios.
K.C. Noel has written a wonderful series. There are many different species. Dragons, vampires, witches. The triad worked well and I enjoyed following Bailey on his journey to another life. The story is entertaining and interesting with steamy scenes. I'm already looking forward to the next volume.
Aaron Ross did a really good job. I could tell the protas apart well and I think he has a pleasant voice that is easy to listen to.
I requested a free copy of the audiobook and this is my honest opinion that I am volunteering

Steamy threesome, a little light on plot
This is a sweet and steamy fated mates story, but it was a bit light on the plot regarding the witch and her efforts to destroy the dragons. There was plenty of sex, but due to the fated mate idea, not much relationship development. I enjoyed the throuple and how they needed to all be together to bond. I felt most of the subplots (Bailey's cancer, the witch's threat) were solved too quickly and easily. Most of the drama was related to keeping secrets and lack of communication. Angst was light and quickly resolved. I would have appreciated more depth to the characters and story, but it was enjoyable for a quick, casual listen.
The narrator was new to me, but he did a good job. I did speed up the playback to 1.2x on Audible.

Hot and steamy
Fantastic book which focuses on a triad. Alex, Bailey and Carson’s bond bloomed to life when they met but Alex and Carson need to come clean before things can progress. Will Bailey run or embrace everything that Carson/Alex offer?
Enjoyed this one. Hot and steamy!

Great menage
I’m never quite sure what to expect with C.K. Noel’s Dragon series. It’s taken me to all different places and this book was no exception. I loved the whole feel of the book and also enjoyed the interracial aspects of the romance – love is color blind. Now, when you’re Bailey and you’ve been told you’re dying, nothing matters anyway. He needs to break up with his boyfriend Carson because in no way is he going to make the love of his life watch him die.
Carson, the vampire, loves Bailey. He can’t figure out, though, why Bailey isn’t his fated mate. Still, his love expands, and when Bailey breaks up with him, he’s devastated.
Enter Alexios, the dragon shifter. He scents Bailey in a club and knows he’s found his mate. But something isn’t quite right and the picture doesn’t come into focus until Carson shows up all puffed-out chest and ‘don’t touch him, he’s mine’. The two supes recognize what’s going on – but now they have to explain it to Bailey. Personally, I felt for the guy. He thinks he’s dying and then he’s told he’s the cardia of a dragon shifter and his ex-boyfriend is a vampire.
Yeah, that’s a lot to take in.
But the triad works. And as they struggle to defeat evil, it’ll take the three men working together to triumph.
Quite a lot packed into a small container. The book is great and Aaron Ross’s narration is even better. Can’t wait for the next one.

Threesome anyone?
The fourth book in the series, and I love these audiobooks.
We have Dragons and Vampires, humans dying from cancer, fated mates and HEA. with a whole lot of drama in-between. We start with Bailey as he wanders why Carson, his lover, isn't committing to him, and then Bailey finds out he has terminal cancer and ends his relationship with Carson. That was before his fated mate finds Bailey at a nightclub. That's when things really heat up. Ohh, and pregnancies, hot sex and everything else you need to enjoy a paranormal book.
Good narration from Aaron Ross, but I did speed up on Audible, which is usual for me, but clear and concise. I will be looking for the next book in the series. I absolutely love the Scottish brogue.
