About this listen
Sylvia's had more than her fair share of hardship. Abandoned by her husband, sold into slavery by her father, and now ruled by a harsh master, she's never felt free.
But everything changes when she discovers an injured stranger in the woods. Despite his initial hostility and the language barrier between them, Sylvia decides to help him at any cost. She's determined to save him from a cruel fate...and he's become her new secret. But she never realized that he'd be a prince - or that he would kidnap her as his bride!
As Sylvia takes on this unexpected adventure, she faces a difficult question: Can love be her freedom, or is it just a new prison?

Intriguing story, easy going, great voice actors.
I didn't know what to expect with this, I got it because Luci Christian is one of the readers and I loved the way she voiced Kaname Chidori in Full Metal Panic. Luci must have some taste in the projects she signed up for as this so far is a very interesting story that draws you in and keeps you guessing and wanting more.
The main characters are likable and at the beginning I found I was drawn in over what would happen next. The story is obviously reasonably long (and good value for money) it starts focused on the main characters and then eventually spreads to others. All the characters are well written but I do feel like the main pair would have tried harder to communicate than they did initially, it's like the whole concept of pointing at things or miming things was missed.
I'm looking forward to getting the second installment I think I managed to get through this one in about 5 days!
