Gripping to the last moment

I have read & listened to all TM Logan’s books, have really enjoyed them all, but this for me has been the best. Imaginative, twisty and very dark, almost spooky. It has every ingredient for the perfect thriller. The narrator was very good, my only criticism is that he sometimes sounds like the voiceover for film trailers, which is a bit comedi and off putting, however, I love the actor and it’s only my opinion.

Silly people

I quite enjoyed it but you have to suspend belief that people could be so dumb when something like this happens in your life.

Hats off to the narrator!! 5*

Soooo this book is incredibly good. I’m new to this yet after listening to 5 books I came across this. The description and depth and story line kept me hooked.
It helped that the narrator was bloody brilliant….great tone of voice and really liked his presentation of the book.
A great listen and will be looking at his other books

Great plot, great narration

Always pleased to find a book narrated by Richard Armitage and he doesn’t disappoint with this one. The plot is good, and as others have said, compelling. There were a few minor niggles - some irritation with the main character and his choices. Other characters sketched a bit too lightly. But overall, excellent.

A riveting story with impeccable narration

I've been waiting quite some time for this to come out, and it doesn't disappoint at all. It's a great listen.

The storyline is original and keeps you guessing all the way through, and Richard Armitage does his usual brilliant job of maintaining the tension in the writing, while bringing each character to life so well that you completely forget it is just him reading it.
