Summary

Veronica McAllister died in 2018.

She immediately opened her eyes again in 1958, all memories of her previous life intact.

She goes from old age, pants suits, and a cane, to poodle skirts, saddle shoes, and Buddy Holly.

At the end of her first life, Veronica said she “wasn’t any good at life.” With the most precious of gifts - perspective and a second chance - can she succeed where she failed during her first life?

What would you do, if you could do it all again?

Includes a special bonus note read by the author.

Another beautiful story in my favourite genre

I was hooked on the story from the get go, even though i had worked out the ending and was fustrated Ronnie didnt figure it out sooner but that was because i was so invested as her as a character. It was a wonderful story filled with tears and smiles. The aurthor has an incredible gift and i love that he chats after the book finishes about his inspiration

Every Middle Falls Book Becomes My New Favourite

This book has caused me to reflect and focus on what I want from my life. It did that on the first listen and again on the 2nd.

Hi Shawn. I have a question?

Hi Shawn firstly let me just say how much I love your stories. I have read them all back to back up till and including Ronnie McAllister. and yes.. I have the rest all downloaded and am eager to carry on. Thank you for writing these.

I haven't done any written reviews up to now but I have rated every book 5 stars across all categories so far. I'm sorry I didn't express my joy in words for each book but with nearly 500 titles read in my Audiable career writing for every book became a bit tedious. (but I always do the star rating)

anyway, so why have I suddenly decided to do a written review on this one? well... after listening to them all so far and loving your little explanations at the end of each book too (something more authors should do) I just began to feel quite connected with you, as well as your characters and have been giving this question in my mind a bit of thought?

You know Thomas wrote a (fictional) book about his real life experiences with being reset? well... I'm just wondering.... Did you? and are you carrying life's biggest secrets?

Enjoyable

I love a time travel story and this story was perfect for me. I love that Veronica had many chances to get it right.

Okay...

It's the first book in the series I haven't enjoyed all that much. It wasn't bad, I just didn't enjoy Ronnie's story. And the narrator was mediocre.
I hope the rest of the series is up to the usual standard, prior to this. I plan to continue reading them despite this book being mediocre.
Would I recommend this? To have a full experience of the series? Yes. But you're not missing much if you decide to skip this one.
I am sorry I couldn't have given a better review, I have really enjoyed the series up until this point.
