About this listen

In this follow-up to Erich von Däniken's worldwide best seller Chariots of the Gods, the author reveals startling new evidence that could prove his theory that ancient Earth had contact with aliens. Von Däniken claims that an alien race helped to create the pyramids of Egypt, a claim he based upon the ruins themselves. And it is these ruins that now provide researchers with a never-ending source of clues, compelling discoveries, revelations, and evidence that Earth was indeed colonized by an alien race:

  • Research showing that the location and design of the pyramids were uniquely fit for preservation---something the Egyptians couldn't possibly have known.
  • Remains of the ships built by the Pharaohs and buried with them for travel in the afterlife---imitations of the ships they saw used by men from the sky.
  • The most recent discoveries---hidden chambers and passageways, one of which ends at an ancient door. And behind the door is...the unknown.
  • Prehistoric bones that prove the existence of a worldwide cult that deformed children's skulls in imitation of the "gods" they had seen.
  • New interpretations of ancient writings---and new speculations on ancient mysteries.

Truth.....detailed and amazing journey!

Anyone with an interest in one of the most important civilization's and its histories, Should listen to this graphic but lightly controversial information. It speaks volumes to the sub-concious questions we have all asked ourselves when faced with arceaological facts and evidence of the dynasties we had no proof of.
Given its complexity, it gives totally digestable answers to the mysteries of ancient perfection and obsession that has eluded many......

History repeating itself?

Perfectly referenced and something juicy to think about. Great narration and I’ll give this a second listen. The historical references are illuminating.

Gripping and Fascinating

From start to finish this book is fantastic. I was utterly gripped by the amount of evidence and the superb way in which supporting research was presented. The narrator is superb and very soothing.

Way out there but fun

Have to admit that I couldn’t follow the logic in this books at all, but I found it entertaining and it cited some facts that I will research a bit more. The author clearly started from the premise that aliens built the great pyramid and put together what felt like random facts to argue his point. I do agree that there’s a lot we don’t know about those amazing structures and that we should look beyond the archeologists’ consensus but I didn’t find his theory convincing. Having said that, such theories just add to the mystique, so it was an enjoyable listen.
