About this listen
The author explains that, although most people desire a wonderful relationship, too many of us don't really understand what love truly means. We say we love people in our lives, yet, too often, we don't act very lovingly. Nor do we choose our partners wisely. This lack of understanding about love is reflected in the ever-increasing divorce rate and the huge number of people who ask with a deep yearning in their hearts: Why is love so hard?
The Feel The Fear Guide To Lasting Love shows what real love actually looks like, how to learn the essentials for finding it, and how to make it last a lifetime. It also lays out solutions to common problems and explains the destructive power of fear. Full of Jeffers' own experiences, humour, and down-to-earth techniques, as well as the wisdom of others, this book will show us all how to enjoy the delight, satisfaction, peace, and caring that true love can bring us.

A classic self help book that lives up to expectations
I’d often heard of this book and even quoted it’s title when about to do something difficult, but I had never actually read it. I began listening without any expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The book is full of original thoughts and advice about how to not just cope with life’s challenges but to embrace them. Susan Jeffers has a pleasant and kindly voice and delivers her material with quiet authority and sincerity. It’s a book that you may, like me, return to on several occasions for guidance and inspiration.

She’s kind of annoying
It’s a short book, could have been a lot shorter. And I remain slightly scared from hearing about her Saturday morning sex sessions

Not for singles!
I got the impression this was for single people, or at least was relevant to them too...so much of it refers to your partner, not if you have a partner! Exercises asking you to practice saying I love u to your partner or practice finding there good points amongst bad ones....I have got 3/4 way through and it's so irrelevant to me and if anything makes me feel slightly worse, lol!
Even for people in relationships-nothing I've heard has been very different to general relationship advice...

Very mediocre book
I found few good exercises (she quoted them from other books)
The rest of book is very mediocre and her way of thinking and talking are quite irritating.
So many great books out there, not sure why someone would waste time on this one.
