incredible, blew me away
One of the best books I have ever read. reminiscent of 1984 . Gripping, intriguing and making me think about life and living. I will now read everything else Justin has written! Great performances too.

Lengthy sci fi exploration - could do with tightening up
I was initially very curious about where this story was going but there were many points that I felt it was never going to get wherever that was
I was almost disappointed by what I thought the final reveal
was, only to have that develop further unexpected layers.
However overall I felt this story needed to be significantly cropped or made into a series.

Fabulous
Loved it start to finish. Trouble is that all good books come to an end. Great concepts. I liked that at times I wondered which reality I was in. Kept me on my toes. Well written, well read, a superb yarn. Thank you to all involved.

Great standalone book.
Really enjoyed the listen, Was hooked by halfway and ruined a night's sleep to finish. Well worth it.

worth listening but
It wasn't a bad book but nothing compared to the passage trilogy. It kept me guessing but probably just because it would have been hard to consider the ending. I didn't much like the characters or the ending, which for a story about moving on, didn't really have much progression. There are things that I enjoyed. the setting was great and the scenes were vivid. The half explanations at every turn could be annoying but definitely kept me guessing. I hope Justin's next book will be as gripping as the previous.

Narration good, but I find Scott Brick’s voice a little sanctimonious at times.

excellent, original but baggy story
I found this book gripping and it kept its secrets for a long time it was spoiled only by an overly schmaltzy and baggy third act, accentuated by the narrator's wavering voice. Plus unnecessary epilogues. However I would thoroughly recommend it and will read more from this author.

a very well narrated novel which I found gripping and interesting. an unusual concept is revealed as the mysteries pile up and then begin to reveal their secrets. well done Justin

Unexpectedly brilliant
I knew nothing about this book going in but I know the author and Scott Brick the narrator has read so many great books I gave it a shot. No spoilers but we’ll worth taking a chance on this one
