Summary
A naïve activist is hired by a corporate villain but doesn't realize it. Cue one awkward farce, a twisty puzzle, and the slowest of slow burns in this opposites-attract, ice queen romance.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. ♥️
I LOVED THIS DYNAMIC DUO. 💯
Fantastic writing in a great storyline and fantastic narration in a great performance made this audio book brilliant.
The characters and the plot has left me wanting more and more, roll on audio book 2. It was a pure joy to listen to and so clever, witty and just darn good. 😍

Lee Winter hits the spot every time!
This storyline was as enticing and yo-yoing between will they won’t they, as is every book I’ve read or listened to of Lee Winter’s. I was so impatient to wait for my monthly audiobook subscription credit, that I bought the second audio book to start straight away.
Angela Dawe has done an exceptional job or portraying the characters!

Gosh
This was a fabulous listen. AD really brings the words of LW to life. Dastardly Michele completely undone by little Miss Sunshine.
Shall look forward to listening to the next book in the series, I've already read it.

Winning duos
Lee and Angela and Michelle and Eden are both excellent pairings. I haven’t read a Lee Winter’s novel I haven’t loved and this one is no different, it’s now onto book 2 - immediately.

Deliciously Wicked!
This is totally worth the hype! Angela Dawe is the perfect performer for this tale of an ‘innocent’ protester being recruited by a secret organisation, run by the morally questionable but hot AF CEO!
Their dialogue had my literally laughing out loud as Eden tripped over her own tongue talking to the ever icy Michelle!
The story was compelling, it had me guessing up until the end as to the identity of the ‘client’. Now I need to reach for book 2 asap!!
