Summary
Kathy and her sister, Samantha, have always been a team. Throughout their time as witches, they've taken out more than their share of bad guys. But after Kathy meets Will, who she learns is a demonic Dark Knight, her loyalties begin to change.
Meanwhile, Samantha doesn't trust Will or his intentions. Still, Kathy can't help but feel tempted by the dark side as she falls deeper in love with Will. Crossing over would give Kathy the freedom to do whatever she wanted with her magic. No rules. No limitations. It would also mean breaking the bond she has always shared with her sister, who has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with the dark side.
When Will proposes they take over the underworld, Kathy loves the idea of having power. But it also leaves her with a choice that will change her life: abandon her family and the life she has always known, or give up the love of her life forever.

Made You Think
This book really had you thinking about who was behind it all. I know part of the truth comes out but when you think back to everything that keeps happening, why isn't Cathy's husband doing any of the killings. Yeah he keeps getting called in because supposedly he can help but when it comes down to it, someone else does it, except for maybe two of the bad guys. That has me wondering. (and no, I'm not giving anything away). Cathy's sister keeps calling him on everything and trying to protect Cathy but she's "in love" and such. Can Cathy see it too before it's too late? What happens when she can't? you will have to listen to find out.

Pretty Good
This was an original and pretty entertaining storyline. The world building was outstanding. The narrator was a perfect choice for this book.

witches and demonic beings
although this is a short story it packs plenty but does leave some dead ends which i hope will be continued in the next book.
