About this listen

When a local heiress goes missing, Danielle discovers it's not always possible to distinguish the living from the dead. More of the same

I don’t want to ruin the plot, so I’ll just say, the things that annoyed me in the last book, have also shown up in this one.

Predictable but charming

The "murder mystery" is pretty obvious like in the previous books, but it's still a charming series to listen to.

Good story

Fun and interesting story with good characters. The ghost theme is amusing and adds to the mystery.

An interesting change from the first two books in this series

Though predictable a few times (unless you are new to this series) the story played out differently then I thought at the start.
I was starting to get irritated by Danielle seeming the police force’s new number one person of interest for everything. But the author tied that loose end up neatly.

Slightly odd narration but still good

I’m enjoying this series but do find the narrator has some odd or incorrect emphasis in some sentences, mostly it doesn’t bother me too much but occasionally it changes the meaning of the sentence & I find myself saying the sentence back in my head to make sense of it! However I enjoy the stories, I don’t know if I will keep going after this book though because it does seem to be generally the same format in each one…..isn’t that the case with most series though so perhaps not a criticism.

Loved it!

I have been reading this series and find it very good. The narrator is a bit stilted but the story is good enough for you to forget that. Worth a read
