Much anticipated... Rather disappointed
I very regrettably missed this play when it was on at the theatre, as I was going to go see it with my Dad with whom I shared deep interest in these lofty topics. Upon listening now, although it was extremely refreshing to hear this kind of subject matter being explored in a play, occasionally there were some bits of dialogue which quite beautifully and wittily captured some of the more nuanced aspects of the hard problem, altruism, God etc, and the majority of the cast were very compelling actors... I felt overall the final product was pretty superficial, in Hilary's own words "not deep", the weaving in of the "miracle/coincidence" of the appearance of her child in the plot was twee...and lastly, dear God the actress playing her was actually excruciating to listen to.

Good Premise, Excellent Cast.... Boring Product
Liked the premise and the cast... Was Bored by the play in the end. I'm glad that I didn't pay full price for it.
