Summary

Marie Lauran is a young medical school graduate desperately looking for a job. Just as her savings are about to run out, she lands an assistant position with the famous surgeon Professor Kern. The terms of her contract are somewhat strange, but the pay is spectacular, and Marie is the sole breadwinner in her household.

When she takes the job and steps through the door of Professor Kern's laboratory, Marie enters a nightmare world she realizes she cannot escape. Instead of a promising medical career, she ends up in the middle of a fight for her life and sanity, where she can trust no one and where everything she believed in is put into question.

The doctor lost his head.

Where does the author Alexander Belyaev gets his ideas is behind me.
A wonderful imagination like this can’t be learned, you must be born with.

The author Alexander Belyoev was an amazing writer with an incredible imagination and a beautiful penmanship style, he was born in the 18 century at the Russian Empire and suffered all his life from terrible sicknesses and bad luck till his death of starvation but even being penniless he left us those beautiful stories and his books till today are being translated and sold all over the world.

Beautiful Narration by Janice Jacqueline Haines for each of the characters in this creation.
