However, in the reality of office life, this power is proving to be a pain in the rear end. Alice gives out massive static shocks. Alright, this might not be the most spectacular gift, but it can fuse electrical circuits, cripple low-life creeps on the underground, and foil bank robberies.

I thought it was the best book I ever listened to in my whole life and I cant wait for there to be another one to come out and it was such a good cliff hanger at the end too. The characters were funny and I enjoyed the adventure. I enjoyed the route of the train journey, through places that I knew. Oliver aged 10

A mystery adventure onboard a train!
I brought this as a possible class read for Year 5. The story was fast paced, kept you guessing as you read it and had some super illustrations. A little like a younger Murder on the Orient Express with theft instead of robbery. I would highly recommend this for ages 8+ As a class text this has a lot of potential as for cross curricular lessons, or just a read for pleasure.
